  Di Donato Associates is a San Diego area architectural firm that has been in operation since 1990. DDA has worked on a full range of project types from residential to commercial, medical clinics to industrial. This diversity allows DDA to draw from a large pool of problem-solving experience to cope with challenging projects. DDA’s principal architect, Allen Di Donato is a registered architect in both California and Washington State. Allen has a wide range of experience in both single and multi-family residential design. Working primarily in an urban context, often on difficult sites, many of his projects have necessitated his ability to integrate form with context while dealing with complex programmatic issues. As both principal and project architect he is responsible for overseeing all phases of the architectural process from programming through construction administration. Throughout the process, he and his staff maintains close contact with the client in order to administer to the changing needs of the project as it develops. Over twenty-five years of experience and an education that includes graduate and post-graduate work in fine arts as well as a degree in architecture enables Allen to bring a diverse group of creative and analytical abilities to the table. Di Donato Associates has a staff of dedicated professionals.
